May 27th: 16.00: While trying to get to the Technorati support staff, I found a Technorati Support Blog with an official (?) announcement on the (May 20th) saying:
Favorites / Fans currently Down.
Apologies for any inconvenience!! We are working on it and it should be back up soon. A message will be posted here when it is back up. Thanks for your patience.
So it is a general (and long lasting) problem. Hopefully it will be resolved (real) soon.

Last Saturday I saw the message for the first time and now it’s still there. Can’t find an official explanation on the technorati site.
I even lost all my fans! But that maybe due to a slight modification to the url of my blog I carried out yesterday.

That is what it is all about. Favorites=fans.
They are gone for more than a week now.
It was a nice way to keep up with a selection of blogs.
But it is reassuring to know that not only my fans have gone (with the wind).

I just wanted to comment on the Technorati Support Blog post and I got the message:
Sorry, there was an error when running your search.
Try running your search again, it might have just been a hiccup.
If that doesn’t work, we might be experiencing some temporary problems. We’ve been notified that a search didn’t go through and we’re in the process of fixing it.
Why don’t they inform us about what is wrong here?
That’s the trouble with al those free services: we depend to much on them probably…
(Try to imagine what will happen when Google goes down …)
Technorati had a bad time a year or so ago, i assumed they had concurred it. Not so it seems.
