@Michelle Dutch colleagues have already commented to the first article. I could comment to the second one. But, as you say, it is tiresome to read this kind of “research” (in general). Thus to stop these kind of articles one should like to reach all editors (of biomed journals), not just one.
On the other hand, there is probably a need for this kind of information. But the study should be either well designed or it should just be an expert article by a clinical librarian (practical and understandable for clinicians: we librarians often want to be too comprehensive)
